I've become rubbish with remembering birthdays in my old age. I would say that I am becoming senile like Aunt Margie, but I'm not quite that old yet. Still, it gets hard to get around the house and my bones are beginning to ache. I've enlisted the aide of this journal as well as a potions book to help me with those problems. I've written down everyone's birthday and charmed it to alert me one week before the actual day. This way I will always have a present for everyone, not that I have forgot yet, but I've come close!
It's absolutely lovely to see most of the family picking up these old journals again. I missed the old days when we communicated so easily and gave the owls a bit of a rest. It seems everything is going swimmingly.
Arthur and I have James, Albus and Lily over for the weekend. I feel like I'm repeating something here, but it's lovely just the same. I've misses having children crawl all over me and now it seems like I never have a moment without them. I'm one extremely happy grandmother.
